Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, health and dietary goals, body measurements, meal plans, grocery lists, and recipe submissions), information collected automatically (device info, usage data, app performance data), and information from third parties (Apple/Google sign-in providers, subscription status from App Store/Google Play). Health and dietary information is treated as sensitive personal information and is handled with heightened care. We never use it for advertising.

We use your information to provide the Services, generate AI meal plans, process recipe submissions, verify subscription status, and improve the platform. We do not use your information for targeted advertising. We are an ad-free, subscription-supported service.

Family Plans allow one Primary Account Holder to manage nutrition data for up to 4 family members. The Primary Account Holder has full visibility into all Family Members' health and nutrition data. Family Members consent to this access by accepting the invitation to join. Pl3nish does not permit minors under 18 on Family Plans.

When you submit a recipe, we collect the recipe content, your creator handle, and processing metadata. Submitted recipes go through our automated nutrition pipeline, which may generate an AI photograph. Public recipes are visible to all subscribers under your creator handle. Private recipes are visible only to you.

No. Pl3nish does not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not engage in targeted advertising. We use third-party service providers (Google Firebase, Anthropic, FAL.ai) who are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate the platform, and as required by law. We name our key providers: Google Firebase (infrastructure), Anthropic (AI meal planning), FAL.ai (recipe image generation), and Apple/Google (subscription billing). Public recipe content is visible to all subscribers.

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. US residents in California, Colorado, Virginia, and other states with applicable privacy laws have additional rights including right to know, right to deletion, right to data portability, and right to opt out of sale (we do not sell). Canadian residents have rights under PIPEDA. Contact privacy@pl3nish.com to exercise any right.

We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest, Firebase security rules enforcing per-user data access, server-side validation via Cloud Functions, and access controls. No security system is perfect — if you discover a vulnerability, contact security@pl3nish.com immediately.

We retain your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion, as required by law. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
